On Women Religious

The always thoughtful and accessible Fr. Barron on the Vatican’s assessment of the state of the US’s Leadership Conference of Women Religious.
It is comforting to learn that the Vatican is looking into twenty-first century post-modern thought in America.
A very concise and brilliant explanation of the Vatican’s concern, arriving on time, as Fr. James Martin S.J. is asking for voices to support the USLCWR.

Because I had watched the video of Fr. Barron, and had even taken some notes, I was able to clearly explained to the people present at my office lunch (6 people) today, why the Vatican had asked for a visitation. They started with how unjust it is to go after a group of nice nuns who is doing so much, and how disliked and how mean Pope Benedict is etc…
I made a demonstration clear and simple. No further argument was presented, most probably because they were not prepared, but I was.
Know your faith, defend it.
Laudate Dominum.
