Pope Benedict Asks for Prayers

At his General Audience earlier today, Pope Benedict XVI delivered a message in English to the peoples of Israel, Jordan, and the Palestinian Territories. He announced his intention to visit their lands later this week as a “pilgrim of peace.” In addition, he asked for the prayers of all, that peace may reign in that part of the world chosen by Christ to be his earthly home.
